C.O.R.E Group

A 6 week therapeutic group exploring how we relate to ourselves, each other and the world. Supported by therapists trained in Cognitive Analytic Therapy & Art Therapy, the group will explore themes that emerge through supported sharing, writing and art-making. Starting Thursday 2 May 2019. 

This 6 week C.O.R.E group will draw on a range of creative and therapeutic modalities creating a safe space to explore our patterns of relating to ourselves and others with a focus on;

Connecting: Connecting with others and ourselves in a safe, supportive and inclusive space.
Opening up: Opening up and exploring how we make sense of our relational experiences in the context of our stories including the ways we have learnt to relate to painful emotions.
Relating: New ways of relating to ourselves and the people around us.
Empowering: Empowerment through greater insight and relational flexibility; making value-driven choices in how we choose to care for and relate to ourselves and others

FACILITATORS:

Lee is a Psychotherapist & Occupational Therapist with over 20 years’ experience working across the public and private mental health sector. Lee is the Director of In Dialogue Practice and a leading expert in Cognitive Analytic Therapy.

Cat is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with qualifications in Art Therapy and experience working across private and public mental health sectors in individual therapy and therapeutic group settings.

When: Thursday 2nd May, 9th May, 16th May, 23rd May to 6th June 2019
Where: Site Works – 33 Saxon St, Brunswick 3056. Workroom 1
Time: 6.15pm to 7.45pm
Cost: $240.00 ($40 a session)  for six group block. Medicare rebate may apply.
