A 6 week course using breath, movement and mindfulness practices to improve your mental health.
What’s involved?
- Develop a foundational understanding of yoga psychology and how simple yoga practice of breath, movement and mindfulness can improve your mental health.
- Understand and practice grounding techniques that can be used day to day in order to improve your sense of stability and security
- Explore how these practices (breath, movement and meditation) can be tailored to your individual needs; and develop your own set of tools for everyday life
- Reflect on and experience how engaging in these health practices can improve your mental health
Starting Monday April 29th 7pm–8.30pm for 6 weeks at Pulse Brunswick – First Floor (black door), 149 Glenlyon Rd Brunswick.
$290 for entire course (Medicare rebates apply)
No prior Yoga experience is required. Yoga sessions are focused on breath and integrating psychological practices and therefore physical poses are simple, gentle and accessible for all.
